Jonnie Cakes - ADOPTED!

Jonnie is an adorable 16 month old (born September 2014) spayed female Fox Red Labrador Retriever available for adoption near Hudson, NY. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations. Jonnie is AKC registered and registration can be transferred to new family.

Jonnie was surrendered to us when her original owners felt that she was too hyperactive for their family. She definitely needs a home that can channel the energy of a working dog- through daily exercise and an active routine. She loves to play fetch and frisbee and even has potential to be a competitive frisbee dog. She came to us in late October. We have been working on her self-control, her basic manners, recall and off-leash training. She is coming along very nicely but will need a consistent owner who will continue her training. She loves people!

She is crate trained and house broken. She is a very fun dog who would make a great companion for a single or a family looking for an active dog who needs daily exercise.

Jonnie was recently spayed and has fully recovered so we feel she is ready to start a new life in her forever home.
